About me

Mason (He/Him) is a Costume Designer based in Los Angeles, California. His drive for storytelling motivates and inspires him while working on any project, in any medium. With a passion for world building on any scale, Mason wields empathy to craft relatable characters with a strong visual and emotional impact. His eye for aesthetic and detail propels his design approach, seeking to create looks that sink effortlessly into the story as a whole.

He attended the University of Northern Colorado and graduated with a degree in costume design & technology. In addition, he is also an alumnus of the Santa Fe Opera’s costume apprenticeship and Williamstown Theatre Festival’s costume design internship.

Mason is currently working as a costume technician for Universal Studios Hollywood.

When Mason isn’t working on a project, he enjoys testing out digital art brushes, listening to a chilling true-crime podcast, or chipping away at his watchlist on Letterboxd (@masonstanley)!
